This post is announcing the launch of the campaign alongside the news of the new project. Here are things that are important about the launch day post:
- Why you’re funding & what the funds will be used for
- Why it’s special that your customers can be your funders
- Why the funds are important to you and your business
- Make it urgent & clear!
- Make it clear that this is not a donation—contributors get 120% back in monthly credits over 6 months
- How to fund the campaign (the link to your campaign page is in bio)
- Keep it short (3-5 sentences)
- Avoid words like investment and donation
Here are examples of captions that worked well in the past for different campaigns:
“Psst! We’re coming to Brookline (and we need your help!).
To fund our next location, we’re launching a campaign with
@numarket.co
a crowdfunding platform for small businesses, to turn your contributions into credits to use at our current location or for nationwide shipping.
For every $1 you put into this campaign, you'll get back 20% more in credits. So you get 20% more of our delicious bagels and lox (and help us bring your favorite Jewish deli classics across the river).
Click the link in our bio to contribute. Every amount counts!
