Nu Foodie in Residence
The role
NuMarket is looking for someone to uncover and tell stories of entrepreneurs and movers-and-shakers in cities across the US. You'll get a monthly stipend to host events, attend parties, go to pop-ups, and get coffee with founders in your city.
This might be for you if you:
- Pride yourself on always having a pulse on the up-and-coming restaurants, cafes, vintage stores, and pop-ups in your city
- Love telling the stories of founders and how they made their dreams happen. You likely have a blog, podcast, or tiktok account (or all 3!) and have experience building an audience
- Are energized by meeting people in the food ecosystem. You'd be pumped to host/attend industry events every week
- Individual contributor who wants to set their schedule and set their own goals. You're able to set your own deadlines and produce content on a regular cadence
Signs this role might be for you are if you:
- Maintain a robust Google Maps of saved places you want to try in your city
- Currently have more than 3+ Eater tabs open
- Talk about restaurant owners like celebrities
- Creating content gives you energy
About NuMarket

NuMarket is a unique crowdfunding model that helps those businesses raise funds from their community in exchange for credits that are delivered in installments to funders.
